1. Our promise
We want every garment to feel considered when it arrives. If it does not, you may return it within seven (7) days of delivery for a refund or replacement, provided it meets the conditions set out in this policy.
2. Return window
7 days from delivery
Submit your return request by writing to
info@ganeshcloset.com with your order number and a brief description of the reason for return.
3. Conditions for return
To be eligible for return, the product must be:
- Unworn, unwashed and free from any stains, marks, perfume or other damage.
- In its original packaging with all tags, labels and accessories intact.
- Returned within seven (7) days of the date of delivery.
Items that are not eligible for return:
- Innerwear, lingerie, swimwear and socks, on hygiene grounds.
- Items marked "Final Sale" on the product page.
- Customised, monogrammed or altered pieces.
- Items returned in a condition that suggests they have been worn or washed.
4. How to initiate a return
Write to us at info@ganeshcloset.com within seven days of delivery, with the following details:
- Order number (in the format GC######XXXXX)
- Name and registered mobile number
- Items being returned
- Reason for return
- One or two photographs of the item
We will respond within 24 hours with the pickup address and a return reference number. Pickup is arranged through our logistics partner where serviceable; in non-serviceable PIN codes you may need to dispatch the item via India Post (we will reimburse the postage receipt).
5. Refund timelines
Step 1 — Pickup (Day 1–3)
Our logistics partner picks up the item from your address.
Step 2 — Inspection (Day 4–6)
The item is received at our New Delhi studio and inspected for the conditions set out above.
Step 3 — Refund initiated (within 7 business days of inspection)
Once the return is approved, we initiate the refund. Refunds are credited within 7–10 business days to the original payment method used at checkout.
6. Refund method
- UPI payments: Refunded directly to the UPI ID / bank account used for payment. RRN reference shared by email.
- Cash on Delivery: Refunded by NEFT to a bank account in the order-holder's name. We will request these bank details when initiating the refund.
- The Cash-on-Delivery convenience fee (₹49) is non-refundable.
7. Order cancellation
Orders may be cancelled at no charge at any time before they are dispatched. To cancel, write to info@ganeshcloset.com with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, it can only be processed as a return after delivery, in accordance with this policy.
8. Damaged, defective or wrong items
If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please write to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a free pickup and either replace the item or refund the full amount, at your preference, within seven business days.
9. Exchanges
We currently offer exchanges only for size. To request a size exchange, follow the return procedure and mention the size you would like instead. Subject to availability, the exchanged piece is dispatched within five business days of return inspection.
